James M. Wheat

Jim Wheat started his retail career in 1972; he was hired as a part-time stock boy at a Western Auto store in Louisville, Kentucky. Two months later Jim was offered a permanent position with Western Auto; and shortly after Jim worked his way into management. Since this time Jim Wheat has climbed through each level of retail management performing above industry trends serving as President of Jiffy Lube International and CEO of Penske Auto Centers. Jim's management style is uplifting and motivational leading him through an extensive record of achievement in both retail and franchise management. Today, he is often referred to as the industry leading executive in the automotive aftermarket service and quick lube business segments.
